Logistics & warehousing

Printers, scanners and handhelds that keep the dock moving.

A label printer down or a handheld off the network holds up a shipment. Nanoheal watches the PCs, printers, scanners and handhelds in every warehouse and fixes them on the device.

What it fixes

Fixed on the device, then checked.

From the fault on one device to the pattern across every site. Each fix is already in the automation library: it runs when the device reports the problem, checks the result, and hands the case to IT, with the evidence, only if it didn’t hold.

  1. Across sites

Handhelds in one warehouse keep dropping off the Wi-Fi.

    1. Haya ranks every network by signal, worst first, then the weakest devices on it: the drops are on one network in one warehouse.
    2. Handhelds there get their Wi-Fi profile reset; the ones that still drop are listed for the site team.
    3. The site knows which aisles need an access point, with the evidence attached.

Pickers stay connected, and the real cause gets fixed.

  2. Before the rush

A Windows update is due during the evening peak.

    1. The update is held until the peak is over.
    2. It installs on one dock first, then the rest: staged, approved and versioned.
    3. If it breaks a station, it is rolled back.

    Shipments leave on time.

  3. At peak

Forty temporary staff start on Monday.

    1. An onboarding sequence sets up what each role needs: the warehouse app, printers and drives.
    2. When someone forgets a password, it is reset on the device, through Active Directory and Entra ID.
    3. Their devices show on the same console as everyone else’s from the first shift.

Ready on their first shift, without a queue at the IT desk.

And the everyday fixes

When this happensWhat runsThen
At the dock
Label printer offline Checks the spooler and the queue → restarts the spooler, clears stuck jobs → reconnects the printer Checks it prints
Scanner not found Restarts the USB and HID services → restarts the scanner software Checks the scanner answers
The warehouse app freezes Restarts the application → restarts the services it depends on Back where the picker left it
Handhelds
Android handhelds and kiosks Kiosk mode → device management → the experience score On the same console as the PCs
Across sites
A shared PC fills up Clears temp files → archives old logs Space freed before it runs out
A service stops Restarts the service → watches it IT told only if it keeps stopping
A new dock or site Sets up printers → maps drives → installs the warehouse app Ready to ship in one run
Big sheds, patchy Wi-Fi

See where the Wi-Fi lets the dock down.

Haya, Nanoheal’s AI and analytics, ranks every network by signal, worst first, then the weakest devices on it, so you know which aisle needs an access point. Where the Wi-Fi drops out, fixes and policies keep running without a cloud connection, where the policy or automation does not need one, and Android handhelds get kiosk mode, device management and the experience score from the same console.
